COMPANY HISTORY

Advanced Safe and Vault Engineering is a small, full-service safe and vault sales and service company located in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area of California. The company was originally established as a San Francisco locksmith company in 1968 under the "Carter's Key Shop" DBA, but we began specializing in safe and vault services within a few years after being purchased by the current owner, Ken Doyle.

We are large enough to provide excellent service and quality products at profitable, but reasonable costs, and small enough to know that without the goodwill and loyalty of our clients, we wouldn't exist at all.

Our owner and primary safe and vault specialist is a former Peace Officer and Paramedic. He is continually active in the day-to-day operations of the company, as well as in our industry associations.

He frequently teaches classes to new students at local trade schools, as well as providing instruction and guidance to other technicians on the industry's first Internet Security Network, as well as at annual industry-wide classes and training seminars.

He is the author of many articles on a variety of subjects related to the physical security industry which have been published in some of our most respected industry periodicals. He has also contributed articles on safety and physical security to local newspapers and magazines in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Ken is literally "the man to see" for all our products and services. If, in the unlikely event that he can't solve your safe or vault service problem, he will help you find someone who can.

Through a network of associates and close friends throughout our industry and from all over the world, doing the impossible isn't always so hard. From solving a lockout on a rare antique money chest in San Francisco or a foreign-made, high security jeweler's safe in Las Vegas, to providing a quick referral to another highly-trained professional half way around the world, the miracle of networking proves its value on a regular basis!
